There are instances in my day when I feel self-conscious that I am a blogger. Photographing yourself constantly can seem narcissistic and as you gain popularity, you’re really putting so much of yourself out there for the public eye. Despite how I may project myself, I am human like everybody else and I’m actually rather quite shy and introverted if you meet me in person. What I’m really saying is that in the idealistic way that I think, sometimes I wish the world could be a littles less pretentious and a little more open-minded with what they do not fully understand. It’s common for people to put on a projection for others to see because of what’s deemed socially acceptable or politically correct. But, we all have our own unrevealed struggles that we’re fighting, so we should be mindful of that before we make any offensive remarks and preconceived judgments.

In all honestly, I have some reservations on how things will go for me as life as a blogger. Although I have some degree of fear for it, I take it as a challenge to grow in ways that will make me more expressive and confident. And everyday, it’s just been more liberating.

Today’s outfit is a little more on the casual side and I paired up my recently purchased¬†Obey¬†tie-dye skirt with this white halter top that has a beautiful embroidery on it. Adding some gold shimmer for the shoes, I thought this look was the epitome of a summer outfit.
