If anyone has experience with using at home skin care devices, I believe my description of the Tria SmoothBeauty Laser will be more illuminating. If you have ever used lasers for your skin then, you may be aware of the varying degree of discomfort to extreme pain that lasers can inhabit. I’m not sure if this is in part due to any possible regulations by the FDA for these at home devices, but I’d have to say expect some pain when using this device. If you have ever used a lengthier micro-needle then maybe this could also be tolerable for you.

Bottom line, this thing works and it works really good, unlike a lot of the LED lights therapies that give minimal to unnoticeable pain-free “results,” the Tria is a truly robust laser. It packs a punch, there are 3 power modes, I could hardly take the 2 weaker settings, so I never actually dared to try the highest power setting. I want to get the best skin I can, but even with that motivation, I couldn’t get myself to do it. I mainly operate it on the lowest setting and that still hurts, but I could get myself to endure the sting for just a few minutes every session it takes to cover every area of my face.

The fact that I can get good noticeable results off the lowest setting is a testament to this product. I have been let down by other products in the past, but I’m glad that the Tria delivered. It doesn’t have any battery that you have to keep rebuying either. It is a true one time purchase.
