Black Pointed Flats from Betsey Johnson

Despite being a petite girl that’s 5’2, lately, I’ve been gravitating towards shoes with no heels for the comfort. For the daytime, I typically style my outfits with a pair of sneakers, and for the evening, I opt for a pair of fancy flats like the Lucy Embellished Flats by Blue by Betsey Johnson.

The cutouts and rhinestones create the feel of sparkling lace in these Lucy flats and the pointed closed-toe design definitely elevates this style to look very classy. They look absolutely gorgeous in person and are extremely comfortable as well. The pictures don’t do them justice. They have just the right amount of glam and elegance, with a unique touch of aqua-blue color on the bottom of the shoes. They are extremely comfortable, well-constructed, and have great support for flats. Based on previous reviews, it was recommended that these shoes are better for individuals with narrow feet, but I have a bunion and found these flats to be true to size for my wide feet.

The Lucy flats are actually bridal shoes from Betsey Johnson’s new bridal footwear collection called Blue by Betsey Johnson. They are a perfect companion for all wedding day activities from day to night or from the ceremony to the dance floor. While the designs for most wedding flats can tend to look boring and matronly, these Lucy flats are really young, fun, and fresh. Although these bridal flats look very dressy, you can easily style them up or down for a date night with the boyfriend or for any casual outing really.

I chose this pair in black, just because I thought it would be more versatile in pairing several different outfits with and I love them so much that I plan on snagging another pair in blush for more feminine outfits in my wardrobe. I’m currently over the moon about these flats and will be styling them with more outfits this summer.
