Coachella Festival 2019

During the past 2 weeks, my Instagram was flooded with Coachella pics. Going to a festival has its highs and lows and I just wanted to remind you guys if any of you are getting FOMO from watching social media that we are all just sharing our highlight reels. In many ways, Instagram seems more about showing off than creating art these days and I wonder how do you draw the line between authentically sharing your highlights versus fronting.

I definitely had my moments of feeling overwhelmed hopping to several different events, meeting new people, while trying to capture content. A lot of multi-tasking was required and Coachella was very crowded! With that being said, I still created some beautiful memories during my time at the festival and watching Weezer play live was one of the highlights of my trip.

I want to thank @revolve for also popping my #revolvefestival cherry. I made sweet new friends, had a blast on the rides, and indulged in the bottomless food + drinks! It’s been a hell of a week and my social meter has been zapped so time for me to hibernate, light my new candle, and bask in some “me” time.
