February is the month of love, which calls for me to dress a little more soft and dainty this month. I’m excited to be doing a collaboration with PoshSquare this Valentines.

I picked out these Jasmine Printed Wide-Leg Culottes since I wanted to try wearing culottes for the first time, as I’ve been inspired by how a few other fashion bloggers (like ToThe9s YouTuber Ricci Pamintuan) rock them. Although the structure of these pants may appear stalky, fret not since I think they can bring a classy silhouette if styled properly. In my case, I went with a daytime look for what I would wear to brunch with my beloved.

I kept my top minimal and understated with a blank, white crop top since I thought the bold Paisley pattern of these culottes were a statement piece that stood out on its own. I went with my current favorite Michael Kors sandals and my good ole’ signature floppy hat that I purchased last year.

Just because it’s Valentines, doesn’t necessarily mean we need to wear the conventional pink or red to demonstrate our festive mood for love. For me, Valentines is a day that I want to spend with my special someone and wear something beautiful and feminine to really embody our love in a figurative way.
