I stopped by Ramirez Tran Salon the other day and got my hair color corrected by Cherin Choi, who’s a color genius. She’s had a lot of experience with Asian hair particularly and she was really patient and honest with me on what she could do for my hair. Unfortunately, she said that my hair has too much red tones from previously dying my hair brown and red, so I wouldn’t be able to get the grayish beige color I want until 6 months to a year, but she said she would help me work my way to it.

Until then, I shall embrace this ashy brown color she’s done for me.

Going back to basics, I’ve been loving a lot of simple pieces with great texture lately. I found this Sweater Vest Duster at Target and decided to purchase it on a whim, since it seems like it’ll be a great layering piece for the fall. I’ve been hooked on this trench vest trend going on and pairing them with a lot of tanks since the weather is still pretty warm here in LA. I’m excited to try them with longer shirts once the it starts to cool down.
