As I’ve gotten older, I’ve moved away from the grungy look that I frequently wore during my days as a student. I’ve been more into refined textures, minimalism, and fitted basic pieces.
But since I’ll always be an LA girl at heart, there’s something about the celebrated “toughened effortless” look that I still admire. However, as an adult, I enjoy rocking the toughened look with cleaner cuts and more emphasis on details like buckles and studs.
