I went to Disneyland for the first time in many years. It’s always nice to go back and feel the vibe of the place; the joy and magic of it all. There is always space in my stomach for beignets as well; One of my favorite beignet places is at Downtown Disney.
My dad used to take me and my brother to Disneyland every weekend so I’ve built up so many fond memories of this happy place. I miss the Indiana Jone’s ride and eating freshly baked churros while standing in the long lines for what felt like an eternity. I miss curling up in the back seat of the family car, falling asleep on the way home, still clutching my day’s souvenirs.
Walt said, “Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future.”
Disneyland holds such a unique experience for every person with specific memories and magic that’s special to you. Everytime I visit, I relive my childhood and I am hoping one day, I can give my children some grand memories of “family” at Disneyland as well.
