JW Marriott Desert Springs: Hotel Review

JW Marriott Desert Springs: Hotel Review | Atsuna Matsui

This blog post is in partnership with JW Marriott.

Last week, my boyfriend and I took a mini trip to Palm Springs and stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Hotel for a few days just to unwind.

When we arrived we go settled in and I took a quick snap of the view from our room’s balcony.  Shortly after resting a bit, we headed to our dinner reservation at the Japanese Robatayaki restaurant, Mikado, at the hotel.  If you guys are wondering Robatayaki is a Japanese style of cooking, that isn’t traditionally associated with a performance in Japan, but was popularized here with performances by the Benihana chain.  We had a great entertaining dinner and the chef tossed some shrimp for us to catch with our mouths which were a first and made it a fun interactive experience.

Following dinner, I just unwound at our room with a bubble bath and enjoyed some complimentary Sparkling Wine and sweets.

The next day we went to our spa appointment where we indulged ourselves.  Getting a wonderful full body massage accompanied with some time to relax and unwind with a Jacuzzi bath, fruits, and rose wine.  Afterwards, we headed out to the pool area to enjoy a drink a lounge. We followed that up with getting some ceviche and oysters next to the pool.

On our last day there we ventured around the large property and took some photos of the beautiful landscaping and enjoyed a round of miniature golf that was actually played on real grass.
