Lazy Dazzy

Couple Saturday’s ago, my boyfriend and I decided to break out of our usual routine and headed to Ground Work Coffee shop to get some work done. Although I usually enjoy working in the comforts of my home, my boyfriend is much more productive at a coffee shop.

When we arrived at Ground Work Coffee Co., we ordered some beverages and I had the yummy chai latte, while he had just straight black coffee. The caffeine ended up being way too strong to his liking so he barely took any sips out of it before he started to drink off of my drink. I didn’t mind.

We had a sweet, quiet afternoon. I worked on editing photos for my blog and he was writing. My boyfriend is working on becoming a creative writer and aspires to write a novel one day. He had his book, Alone With Other People by Gabby Bess, next to his computer, ready in hand when needed. The book is a collection of poems and prose pieces and he’s been studying Bess’s craft in creative writing to improve his own ethos and discipline.

Since it was a laid-back day, I decide to wear something much more on the casual and comfort side. With my Khaki Lavel Chunky Knit Cardigan, I left it open and paired it with a white button-up Peyton Shirt for this cool afternoon and curled up inside it when temperatures dropped during the evening.
