I recently collaborated with Sexy Hair for this sponsored post on Healthy Sexy Hair.
It’s an all-encompassing hair product line from shampoo and conditioner to hair treatment and hair styling products. It’s a full-fledged line and I had the chance to try out everything. I’ll mention the ones that stood out for me.
The ‘Hair Laundry’ dry shampoo is great. Having longer, colored hair can be an issue for maintaining a vibrant color as washing in the shower can wash out the color quick. Using the dry shampoo was great to maintain the color of my hair. It’s a little different from sprays that I have used in the past because Sexy Hair uses a dry powdered spray as opposed to a dry spray. I actually prefer this powder version over the aerosol ones, because you get more bang for your buck with the product. For aerosol dry shampoos, I find that I need to purchase another canister every couple weeks, which can be quite wasteful. The Hair Laundry product was super easy to work into my hair and I see it as a big improvement in the dry shampoo niche.
Next up, is my favorite product from the line: ‘Tri-Wheat Leave in Conditioner’. My damaged bleach hair feels significantly softer. I just bleached a week before using it and after just a few uses I’m pleased with the results. It provides a strong softening moisture and helped to detangle some of my damaged strands as bleached hair tends to mangle itself together. It also has a popping smell of Mimosa (I don’t know if that’s your thing, but it smells like how I imagine the quintessential spa would).
For the styling hair treatment, there are many many options. I think I could talk about the four different products and how they can combine with each other to get good sexy hair looks, but alas, I’m a simple girl and I like voluminous effortless looking hair that has some gentle waves in them. Because of this, I was drawn to using a cool combo of ‘Fresh Hair’ and ‘Surfrider’ and I was able to get the type of gentle wave I usually go for with a bit more of a California beach grunge look to it. You can easily tone down either of the products effects by just applying less. I played around with the Surfrider just to see how stiff and rugged I could get my locks and I was impressed! I was able to get my hair looking like a mad scientist (lol)!
Overall, I would say that there is a lot to take in from the entire Sexy Hair line, but it’s the easiest to know what you are getting in each product. The best way to get acquainted was by just simply using it. The Healthy Sexy Hair line is a fun way to mix and match the types of hair products you want and I recommend everything that I mentioned above.

Atsuna, I love your hair! It looks so rich and love how it is styled. Glad to hear that Sexy Hair’s product works! Oh, and it doesn’t break the bank either! I need to give ULTA a visit to check it out. I have problems with tangled hair here and there, and this could be my answer XD.
The California beach grunge look is nice! I’m trying to aim for that, but my hair is too straight XD. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
