This year I really want to work on keeping my mental health in check so I’m going to make an effort to read more self-improvement books. Currently, I’m reading the Power of Now.
I usually get overcome with feelings of anxiety cause I’m always focused on what I need to do next and not fully enjoying the present. I think especially since my work is social media related, I get anxious cause Instagram’s algorithm changes like clockwork and my engagement gets affected. Despite the reality of this, I’m really trying to compartmentalize my worries and not having these racing thoughts constantly circulating in my head.
I’ve only read 15 pages of this book, but I definitely feel it helping me move past my anxiety and stress. For those of you dealing with any anxiety issues, I really recommend checking this book out.
