Staying Refreshed with Dr Pepper

I had the chance to host a few friends over at my place and utilize our outdoor barbecue a bit. I made some great tasting Japanese barbecue style wings, grilled chicken, had lots of great tea and Dr Pepper, and I also included some great tasting sides, like fries with Japanese mayo and ketchup.  After the afternoon turned into night we headed back inside where we played this great game. You may have heard of the game “Cards Against Humanity,” but there is this digital game called Quiplash, that can be played from your smartphone as a controller and any gaming system or even from a PC I believe. It’s basically a Cards Against Humanity type game where you can actually write down whatever you want for an answer instead having a set selection of answers you choose from, it makes adlibbing answers a lot more fun and you can put a lot of your own personal humor and style into it.

Whatever your background or taste, marinating meat and having great sides and refreshments is something universal. In my college years, I really enjoyed the summer barbecues at the beach in Orange County, going to so many of the great beaches in the community, like Newport Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Laguna etc. I had so many good memories of playing games on the beach, getting a nice sun-kissed tan, being care-free, and enjoying food with friends. Such a great summer-time tradition to continue on into this summer.
