You know what I came to realize? Generally, my level of happiness in life has increased with age. Back in my adolescent years, I was so full of doubt and wondering about my personal identity and it was really in college (like many others) that I really discovered myself. There were so many new things you were experiencing on a daily basis in college and although that comes with excitement, it also comes with a lot of uncertainty. My days back then would be a lot more eventful, but have a lot less purpose.

My life is pretty much a routine these days with work amounting to most of what I do and living that domesticated life with my boyfriend. Although I’m generally happier, sometimes I run into the issue of getting uninspired since life starts to feel like its following a schedule. My level of contentment of knowing what I love to do and being in a happy, fulfilling relationship is something I wouldn’t trade for the world, but just sometimes I miss the excitement of doing something. I wish I had more vacation days. I wish I had the ability to travel more and I want to make more of an effort to explore.
How do you guys get inspired and get excited about life?

Me encanta tu estio, el outfit es ideal!! https://bohoclosetblog.com/2016/08/29/sandalias-boho-de-guatemala/
Love your outfit, it’s so chic! And do hear you on the lack of excitement. It’s so annoying during the years when one is sacrificing leisure to work extra and be able to be “free” later! Hate it too, but always try to stick to things I love that are simple. Like watching a movie, listening to a podcast! Xx

Perfect!
I felt exactly like you younger! My level of happiness and confidence has dramatically increased with age. I would never go back to my 20’s for that. When people say 20’s were the best years of their life, I don’t really get it and I find that a bit sad. Concerning the boredom of routine, this is inevitable at times and necessary to appreciate the moments of discovery and excitement. I love to try new things and be adventurous in order to get inspired and excited about life. It can be just trying new food to travelling. Learning new skills,… Read more »
Loving this simple and chic outfit, and the rooftop setting is amazing 🙂 And just like you, I know how you feel about wanting to try new things. I think that’s completely normal, and to feel inspired, just doing an everyday thing a different way, like taking a different route to work or to go home, can really help to clear the head sometimes <3 Hope you had a great weekend love!

You look stunning as always! And I totally get what you say about sometimes losing that exciment, but I guess is part of the life, you can’t feel like that all the time. And you can always try to do new little things to feel like that 🙂
