Last night before I went to bed, a beautiful thought occurred to me. Some may call this an epiphany while others might just call it growing up, but the fact is that I came to realize something. Humans are in this perpetual state of yearning to fill the voids in their life and that feeling never truly ever goes away. Sure perhaps the subject matter changes cause the things we want in life constantly evolves as we age, but the fact is I don’t think we ever get to a point where we truly feel accomplished or free of anxieties. The unsettling heart is a universal human trait and the sooner we accept it, the sooner we will set ourselves free from it. No more grass is greener on the other side way of thinking; “It’s a flaw in the romantic imagination of those who find it difficult to cope with the present,” I tell myself.
